So... tonight- I had the thought "you know, canned cranberry sauce is too unhealthy as a dinner... Seriously, I did. I can cook- I swear. I did the stay at home mom thing for nearly 2 years. I wasn't a great cook, but the food tasted pretty good and was consistently edible. Where the hell did those skills go? I have no idea. So I'm eating pasta again instead... I think it's a safer choice than a whole can of cranberry sauce. I think.
In the past few days very few things have happened. But I'll write about the ones that did.
First, BIG SPIDER IN MY DAUGHTER'S ROOM! I am so afraid of spiders- Dan is my resident spider killer- and he is unfortunately gone. Thus... I had to resort to the swiffer to try and kill this think (it was a good inch across... uuuggghhh). For anyone wondering WHY I am so afraid - I saw the movie Arachnophobia when I was 5 or so... terrified ever since.
I also grew, and got to EAT one of my very own peppers (for those of you not up to date on how big of an accomplishment this is-- see "pansy pepper pilferer" post).
Bailey the Dog has also been an extreme helper throughout the entire Crunch Month process--- I'm pretty sure that at the end of the whole ordeal - he's getting his very own steak.

Next time you find a spider, call Steve! It usually takes him a couple tries, but he (almost) always gets it.
I'm so glad you got to enjoy the fruits of your labor, finally! I hope the pepper was delicious.
Thanks for the sweet comments on my photoblog. :) I'm pretty sure your the only one who consistently looks. Connor smiling was a bit of a freak accident, but luckily, I got the shot.
